Bon Bon Ribbon Bonnet _ Japanese

This bonnet starts by knitting the neckband behind the neck, picking up the yarn from the end of the ribbon and knitting the hood, then knitting the ribbing around the face, and finally knitting both ribbons together.

(Grey) Viola, ORGANIC MERINO DK (100% Organic merino wool, 246 yds / 225 m per 100g), 1 skein of Willow or approximately 212 m of medium weight yarn (DK weight).

Needle: US 4 / 3.50 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needle (for ribbing and ribbon)
US 5 / 3.75 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needle (for food)

Tools: 4 stitch markers, darning needle.
